Let's Burn This Disco Down

I'm a shy and secluded little nerd, I don't really post my own stuff so expect to mostly see other people's things reblogged.

Main things I like to post: Doctor Who, Homestuck, Cats, some NSFW stuff, and just anything else I find interesting.

I realize that’s actually a woman’s pregnant belly but all I see is a picture of a little girl gently resting her head against an exposed butt.

I’m Not a Joke is a campaign spreading awareness for the LGBTI community through art and design, created by Daniel Arzola (@Arzola_d) for the school of Visual Arts Rafael Monasterios in light of the recent violent acts against the sexually diverse community in Venezuela. It initially seeks to expand in the online community. If you’d like to share your opinion please do so via twitter using the hashtag #ImNotaJoke. Like our page on Facebook and share our designs to support our cause!

"Women are afraid of meeting a serial killer. Men are afraid of meeting someone fat."

When Strangers Click, a 2011 documentary about online dating.

It reminds me of that famous Margaret Atwood quote: “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” It also reminds me of something written by one of the mods of Sex Worker Problems: “Misandry irritates. Misogyny kills.”

I mean, it’s just true.

FANGIRL CHALLENGE: 10/10 tv shows
┕ Doctor Who

I walked away from the Last Great Time War. I marked the passing of the Time Lords. I saw the birth of the universe, and I watched as time ran out, moment by moment, until nothing remained. No time, no space – just me. I’ve walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a madman. I’ve watched universes freeze and creations burn. I have seen things you wouldn’t believe. I have lost things you will never understand. And I know things. Secrets that must never be told, knowledge that must never be spoken, knowledge that will make parasite gods blaze! So, come on, then! Take it! Take it all, baby! Have it! You have it all!

THESE ARE THE AGES OF THE DISNEY PRINCESSES AND YOUR LIFE IS A LIE

And to think, a guy kissed a unconscious/comatose 14 year old.

thats a little bit shady

how about stop comparing the Disney princess to how things work in society nowadays and think about the time periods these tales are set in?
It wasn’t until recently that women stopped marrying around the age of 13 or 14! Most of these princesses were considered WOMEN at their age, and not teenagers. They were old enough to marry, run a household, and have children.
The only exception is Tianna, and even then she would have probably married by 16 or 17 if she hadn’t been so focused on her dream.
I’m getting seriously POed by people comparing the Disney princesses to women and girls now, because IT DOESN’T WORK.
AND IT NEVER WILL.
NOT IF THEY KEEP USING OLD FAIRY TALES.
SO STOP IT.

i thought Pocahontas was like 12 when she saved John Smith

it has literally gotten to the point that this fandom needs new material so bad that we are all reblogging a picture of harry untying his shoe
he’s not even using magic or anything

There were these 12 year old boys hanging around. As I got my food and left they were all checking me out like little prepubescent lemurs and one of them said “Can I get your number?” And I turned around and said “Why, you need a babysitter?”
